everyone nowadays wants to be retro it seems, but most don't really take it back like this, or know the true history, sometimes seeing the culture like this is so refreshing and inspiring, although i think Q-tip did it better on "life is better", Madlib did his damn thing on this track, along with the visual element.

Grouch has been putting it down for more years than most so called underground acts, although this is one of his latest tracks, it shows his consistent focal point of his career, conscious rhymes, plain and simple.

this here is a dope dope video of jeremy fish painting a mural to Aesop Rock's "Pigs", Aes killed this song as usual, but i always dug fast forwarded mural paintings and seeing the progression of the artists thought process and how they attack their masterpieces.

After spending years of deeply analyzing lyrical content, rhyme schemes and flow structures/styles, it feels good to relax and formulate my own conclusions over the rhythms. DOOM kills this beat if you didn't know already.
